A bit about me.

Hi my name is James, I'm a husband, father of 2 boys and I love photography.

I always find it difficult to talk about myself, so what do I say?

One of my very first memories is of using my mum's camera to take family photos on holiday and from that moment on I was hooked. From school to university I have always used photography in my work, but my love of Wedding Photography did not start until later. While I was working at Jessop’s I had the opportunity to be a second shooter with another wedding photographer. This showed me a whole new side to photography and I was keen to develop my skills in this area. I loved being swept up in the emotions of the day and from that point on wards I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I have now been photographing weddings for 10 years. Each wedding is unique, so I am still learning and growing as a photographer with every special day I am a part of.

Getting to know you is at the core of my philosophy as I am with you not only for the whole day, but also at several points leading up to the wedding. To achieve this I offer informal meetings to talk through the wedding day, venue visits and an engagement shoot. I am always willing to answer any questions you have to make sure you have one less thing to worry about on your big day. I also make sure that I am not a distraction to you or your guests. I blend into the background quietly capturing every precious moment.

Whatever your photographic needs, I hope that the galleries throughout the site give you a little sense of the great pleasure I take in working with people. I take great pride in my ability to put people at ease in front of the camera as I am never happier than when I am taking pictures. Anticipation, excitement, happiness, smiles, and tears are all part of your special day and I will make sure that I capture all of these little moments so you don't miss a thing.
